Pretty Vintage with a Twist of Organization

Ok, I admit it. I love to be organized. To me, there is just a good feeling you get when things have a place, or at least are all put away. One of the things I find a bit hard to wrangle is the office and my jewelry. I think it is all of the odd shapes that you need to deal with. I know that organizational items have come a long way from the manila folder and plastic basket, but it is really nice to add a personal touch to your home with some vintage cups and saucers to reflect your style.

You might like the feminine, shabby chic items with some pretty pink or pale green cups. Or maybe you like to add a touch of the masculine with vintage ashtrays or kitschy travel plates to keep your things in order.

It is so great to mix and match patterns, shapes and colors. You can display them on a dresser, or stash them in a drawer to hide the clutter. It is like a style surprise for yourself every day.

Having a little fun and making things pretty, well, I just think it makes organizing things feel a lot more like a pleasure and much less like a task.
