First, let me wish you a Happy Halloween! It is such a fun time of the year filled with inventive ideas and creativity. It also ushers in the Christmas and Hanukkah seasons. That means pulling all of your holiday decor out of the attic or basement.
If you want to wait a bit longer before transforming your place to a holiday home, there are some easy ways to add a little bit of sparkle without being full blown holiday. You can really keep it simple by making a white pumpkin the center piece of your table. That look has a great fall and Thanksgiving feel to it. Just add a couple of bud vases with some fresh flowers and some tall mercury glass votive. We have the pink ones from the photograph in our store. Whether you put one on each side of the table of cluster them with smaller ones, it adds a little bit of dazzle to your every day table decor.
If you want to go with something even simpler, just get a classic glass hurricane and fill it with something colorful. You can put artificial fruit, apples covered with scripted paper, pillar candles or pine cones. Hurricanes are great because they are so flexible and can be used throughout the year.
Enjoy!
