Thanksgiving is next week. How did that happen so quickly? Although Thanksgiving is a time to gather with friends and family, it also means dinner and entertaining in the home. With everyone's busy schedule, here are a few quick ideas that will help you perk up the holiday without spending a lot of time.
The Table- If you don't have time to find the perfect holiday related table cloth, try adding a simple tulle runner in your favorite color. You can put on nice autumn colors for Thanksgiving, but I have chosen to spice things up with a bit of pink in the photo here. By swapping out a few items, such a changing to white placements and adding sparkling napkin rings, you can transform the look of your existing dinner table.
The Hostess Gift - Maybe this year you are getting a pass on making the holiday meal, but that doesn't mean you don't have to get ready. Part of going to anyone's house means that you have to bring a wonderful gift for the host/hostess. Yes, a bottle of wine for dinner is a great fail safe, but adding a little something shows your hostess how much you care. It might be a set of adorable appetizer plates or a wonderful fall scented candle, but it goes a long way to say Thank You!
Enjoy!
