I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving. I got to spend time catching up with my family, and meeting new and old friends at the store. People supporting Small Business Saturday was really great. Ok, take a deep breath because the bustle of the Christmas and Hanukkah season are here.
Throughout this time, our homes are filled with lots of holiday tasks including sending cards, wrapping gifts and sometimes baking delicious holiday treats. I was super excited when I got this month's copy of Country Living and discovered the recycled pine organizer cubby on the cover. When I flipped through the magazine, I realized it was exactly the one we had in the store. Let's face it, I am a sucker for anything organizational. My brother got a letter organizer for this birthday made by the same company (I had noticed a lot of stray letters and notes floating around his kitchen counter).
There are so many places in our home to get a little more organized. Even your remotes and magazines in the tv / living room can get corralled with a great rustic wood tray. It is the season of giving, so give yourself a break and get something special to help get organized for it.
Putting things away and bringing a little order to the business of daily life just makes you rest a little easier at the end of the day and makes the morning feel less stressful. Don't you agree? If you have some good tips, I would love to hear them. You can post them on our Facebook Page.
