Pretty & Practical Uses for Storage Jars

When my father comes to my store, he is often surprised that I have mason jars here. He asks, "What do people use these for?" Every time, I give him a different way you can use or it some way that a customer suggested that I hadn't heard before.Vintage ball jars are great additions to some many parts of the home.

One thing I always mention is the use for storage. Whether it is paper clips, pens or postage stamps, a couple of mason jars can keep your rubber bands trapped in a place you will find them.

Beyond the practical, you can transform for a more romantic by filling them with sand and adorable candles or just some freshly clipped fall flowers from your garden. We have even seem people use them for table numbers for their weddings. Add a little tin tag with a message like "Thank You" and they are transformed into gifts.

For buttons or birthdays, ball jars are great to have in the house, and pretty enough for any decor.
